Location: Madison, Wisconsin; travel throughout Wisconsin, mainly Northern Wisconsin, to project sites. Main office: Plover, Wisconsin. The role requires work at company-designated office or field locations and may include occasional overnight travel.
Salary: $47.92 per hour. Wage depends on experience and certifications under the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

What you will do
- Perform servicing, preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Travel to customer and project sites across Wisconsin to maintain equipment and support field teams.
- Identify mechanical problems visually and with computer diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain service vehicles and document equipment condition, repairs, time, and materials.
- Complete repair orders, timesheets, safety inspections, and related documentation.
- Respond to emergencies outside regular hours and work overtime, including weekends and holidays, when required.
Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in mobile heavy truck, automotive, or equipment repair, with applicable trade or technical school time accepted; alternatively, completion of a vocational, technical, or apprenticeship program plus four years of experience.
- Ability to operate company vehicles and equipment daily with proper licensing.
- Knowledge of vehicle and equipment design, adjustment, operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Experience using mechanical tools, materials, testing equipment, and basic computer or data-entry systems.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with coworkers, communicate effectively, and follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Must be at least 18 and currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
