Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Location: Colton, California, USA; full-time onsite

Salary: $38–$42 per hour, plus benefits and a 401(k) matching program.

What you will do

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Repair or replace worn or damaged components, including hydraulic and 12V/24V electrical systems.
• Complete welding and metal fabrication repairs as needed.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with department managers to reduce equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate repair records in the CMMS and follow all safety procedures.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, cylinders, and electrical systems.
• Experience with welding and metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced industrial setting.
