Accounting Associate (Gaming)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work with 3 days per week from the hub

What you will do

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Record general ledger entries in line with local and group accounting policies.
• Support month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, and timely financial reporting.
• Post and reconcile intercompany transactions and maintain the fixed assets register, including depreciation.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and cross-functional teams to provide accounting insights and resolve issues.
• Support internal and external audits and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in general accounting, preferably in international, multi-entity environments.
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience recording and maintaining accruals, prepaid expenses, and reclassification entries.
• Experience with flux analysis, including investigating and explaining significant period-over-period variances.
• Experience working with ERP systems and managing multiple priorities with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle ERP.
• Experience in a shared service center or centralized accounting function.
• Experience in a technology or similarly dynamic, multi-entity environment.
