Junior Financial Analyst (Cost Accounting)

What you will do

• Maintain and reconcile cost accounting records, inventory-related balance sheet accounts, and cost allocations across cost centers and projects.
• Prepare periodic cost reports and variance analyses comparing actuals, budgets, and forecasts, with actionable recommendations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing through journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and cost reclassifications.
• Develop standard cost models, bills of materials, and cost simulations for tracking and forecasting.
• Use QAD and SAP as an ERP power user to extract, validate, and analyze cost and inventory data affecting the EMEA region.
• Build automated reports and dashboards with Excel, Power BI, and SQL while contributing to process improvement, compliance, and cross-functional analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of finance experience; relevant internships or practical experience are advantageous, and prior professional experience is not required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, and modeling, plus experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Copilot or AI-powered productivity tools and basic accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Adaptability, flexibility, time management, prioritization, collaboration, networking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Creative thinking and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
