Accountant Trainee (Gaming)

Location: Barcelona, Spain (office-based); Bucharest, Romania (office-based); or Milan, Italy (hybrid)

What you will do

• Support day-to-day general accounting, primarily processing and recording supplier invoices.
• Apply correct VAT treatment and invoice coding for tax reporting and compliance with the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT).
• Maintain fixed asset records and ensure accurate monthly depreciation calculations.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support monthly reporting, including operating expenses and sales invoices.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to provide accurate and timely financial information.

Requirements

• A university agreement (convenio universitario) is mandatory; applications without eligibility will not be considered.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 30–40 hours per week.
• Understanding of, or interest in learning, double-entry bookkeeping, accruals, prudence, and other fundamental accounting principles.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, organization, adaptability, and effective written and verbal communication.
