Finance Analyst

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Manage accounts receivable processes, monitor outstanding balances, support collections, and resolve customer account discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, coding, posting, approvals, reconciliations, and payment runs.
• Prepare bank, balance sheet, and other account reconciliations while supporting month-end and year-end close.
• Review accounting records, investigate variances and unusual movements, and maintain supporting documentation and audit trails.
• Improve finance processes by identifying inefficiencies and control weaknesses, documenting procedures, and supporting automation.
• Support financial and operational reporting, explain variances, and contribute to finance KPIs and management reporting.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling, FP&A, or a similar environment.
• Practical experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
• Solid understanding of core accounting and finance principles, accounting systems, and financial data.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Experience in a multi-entity or international environment is highly desirable.
• Fluent English and the ability to work from the Barcelona office 3 days per week are required.
