Junior Accountant

What you will do

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, transaction processing, and collections across multiple countries.
• Process payments and maintain complete financial records and documentation across business lines.
• Monitor account aging reports to support cash flow management.
• Reconcile internal records with statutory accounts and support month-end closing for group reporting.
• Coordinate with the external accounting firm on compliance, invoicing, documentation, and billing queries.
• Support the improvement of financial procedures, controls, reporting, and process automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Approximately two years of accounting experience and competency in core accounting functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on ERP experience, preferably QuickBooks or Xero.
• Strong professional Spanish and English communication skills are required.
• Understanding of VAT regulations and familiarity with Spanish GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, collaboration, and willingness to grow into independent responsibilities.
