Location: On-site at Naval Support Facility Dahlgren in Dahlgren, Virginia, United States
Salary: $135,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do
- Develop and execute systems-engineering plans for radar design, integration, verification, and sustainment.
- Define, decompose, allocate, and manage hardware and software system requirements, specifications, baselines, and interface documents.
- Apply MBSE methods and tools to system architecture, requirements management, design analysis, and technical decision-making.
- Perform radar architecture, interoperability, and system-performance analyses using engineering models and analytical tools.
- Support model verification, validation, accreditation, integration, and focused testing; analyze test data with MATLAB and laboratory tools.
- Support radar signal-processing engineering, including waveform development, clutter management, electronic protection, electromagnetic compatibility, and new processing techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, computer, or electronics engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, or a related listed discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant engineering or scientific experience; advanced degrees may count toward the experience requirement.
- Experience with systems engineering for complex radar, sensor, combat-system, or comparable technical systems.
- Experience with requirements development, decomposition, allocation, traceability, system specifications, and interface definition.
- Current DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one; engineering degrees must be from a school with an ABET-accredited professional engineering curriculum.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to work on-site at Naval Support Facility Dahlgren are required.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, or a related STEM discipline.
- Experience with the Expeditionary Radar Program, G/ATOR, advanced radar systems, radar architecture, signal processing, sensor integration, or performance analysis.
- Experience with MATLAB, engineering analysis tools, Navy or Department of Defense acquisition programs, and model verification, validation, or accreditation.
