What you will do

• Provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support for a space-domain Program of Record using the Middle Tier Acquisition rapid prototyping pathway.
• Support the development and integration of radar-related technologies and architectures for space and multi-domain applications.
• Perform systems engineering across concept development, requirements analysis, architecture, design, integration, verification, testing, training, operations transition, and sustainment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams throughout the system lifecycle.
• Support technical baseline management, requirements traceability, interface definition, and configuration-control activities.
• Participate in technical reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and ORR.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline.
• US citizenship and a current DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility are required.
• Strong understanding of radar phenomenology, RF systems, or space-based remote sensing architectures.
• Experience with DoD systems engineering and digital engineering practices, RF sensing systems, ISR payloads, or space-based sensor architectures.
• Knowledge of radar signal processing, mission data processing, ground exploitation systems, sensor data products, and sensor performance analysis.
• Experience with requirements verification and validation, performance assessment, and integration and testing of complex aerospace, radar, or space systems.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Understanding of Synthetic Aperture Radar concepts, systems, and signal and image processing techniques.
• Experience with DAAF, DoDI 5000-series acquisition processes, OTA programs, rapid prototyping, or accelerated acquisition pathways.
• Experience with Cameo, DOORS, SysML, MBSE, test planning, operational assessment, or Agile software development.
• Experience supporting DoD, Space Force, NRO, MDA, or Intelligence Community space and ISR programs.
