Survey Data Technician

What you will do

• Draft and post-process survey data using CAD software, including AutoCAD and Trimble TBC.
• Produce base maps, topographic and contour data, ALTA, boundary, and utility survey deliverables.
• Calculate and plot deeds, plans, survey documentation, exhibits, plats, and related drawings.
• Develop construction stakeout upload files and hard sheets for survey crews.
• Process post-construction and as-built data and drawings while following quality procedures.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and assist with equipment, inventory, shipping, and general office support.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in survey drafting, data technician work, or CAD.
• Knowledge of survey technology and basic civil engineering concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication, mechanical, and computer skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred; Certified Survey Technician III or IV, LSIT, or a bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited survey curriculum preferred.

Nice to have

• Remote sensing experience, including SUAV/drone Part 107 piloting, laser scanning, or hydrographic surveying.
