Senior Project Manager (Civil/Site Design)

What you will do

• Oversee a team of two to four engineers and CAD designers.
• Lead civil engineering project activities, including studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Manage the planning, modeling, and design of public and private facilities.
• Coordinate site layout, utility, grading, drainage, erosion control, and stormwater management design.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain relationships with clients, employees, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and schedules while ensuring successful delivery and application of civil engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• At least 8 years of professional engineering experience, including at least 4 years in project management and civil engineering project delivery.
• Professional Engineering License in Virginia, or the ability to obtain it within three months.
• Proven experience delivering projects through planning, preliminary design, and final design.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineers and designers and provide strong client service.
