What you will do

  • Complete a four-year Electrical and Instrumentation Technician apprenticeship.
  • Maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair site equipment and utilities.
  • Work alongside experienced maintenance personnel in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Gain exposure to electrical, instrumentation, automation, and reliability activities.
  • Complete four on-the-job phases and three off-the-job educational phases through the SOLAS apprenticeship programme.

Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate with passes in Mathematics and English.
  • Interest in electrical and instrumentation activities.
  • Basic hands-on or practical proficiency.
  • Strong foundation or interest in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Technical Drawing, Construction Studies, or Agricultural Science.
  • Eagerness to learn the Electrical and Instrumentation trade.
