Purchasing Supervisor (Medical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate the purchasing team's daily activities, including accurate purchase order issuance and supplier follow-up.
• Manage team workload while maintaining a personal portfolio of hands-on purchasing responsibilities.
• Procure direct and indirect materials in line with approved suppliers, lead times, inventory targets, and purchasing policies.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders, pricing, quantities, delivery dates, lead times, and supplier data in SAP.
• Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier failures, stockouts, and ordering errors.
• Partner with Quality, Regulatory, and R&D on supplier onboarding, issue resolution, specifications, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory, team lead, or functional leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and purchasing tools; SAP experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage priorities, solve problems, and support team execution in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environment.
