Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator (Logistics)

What you will do

• Support company-wide health, safety, and compliance programs across multiple operational sites.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable state and local workplace safety regulations.
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and follow-up corrective actions.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims, documentation, return-to-work programs, and communications with insurers, providers, and employees.
• Coordinate background checks, fingerprinting, drug testing, safety training, and certification tracking.
• Manage safety-related vendors, service agreements, scheduling, and compliance records.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, HR compliance, workers’ compensation, or a related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA and state workplace safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Ability to walk garage depot floors, conduct on-site inspections, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience managing workers’ compensation claims.
• Experience coordinating drug and alcohol testing programs.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, warehouse, or fleet operations.
• OSHA or another safety-related certification.
