Lead, Occupational Health & Wellness (Automotive)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Based at the hirify.global corporate headquarters with 4–5 days per week in the office, regular in-person meetings, business travel to company facilities, and attendance at company events.

Base salary: $150,000–$181,250 per year, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead occupational health, wellness, medical surveillance, early-intervention, and injury-prevention programs.
• Manage third-party occupational health clinics, telehealth triage, medical providers, and related service performance.
• Develop and improve ergonomics programs across tools, equipment, workstations, processes, and workplace design.
• Coordinate care, return-to-work, transitional-duty, workers’ compensation, and employee health matters.
• Lead occupational and industrial hygiene initiatives, including exposure assessments, monitoring, studies, and practical controls.
• Analyze health, injury, ergonomic, and provider data and present metrics and recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Nursing, Kinesiology, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, EHS, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in occupational health, EHS, ergonomics, clinical operations, or related disciplines.
• Experience independently leading occupational health, injury-prevention, ergonomics, or workforce wellness programs in complex operating environments.
• Expertise in ergonomics, return-to-work, workers’ compensation, industrial hygiene, OSHA, and EHS requirements.
• Strong data analysis, stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
• Valid driver’s license required; regular travel to hirify.global facilities is expected.
