VP, Environmental Health & Safety (58034)

Location: Marietta office, Marietta, Georgia, United States. The role involves regular travel throughout the United States and Canada, including company locations, operating sites, acquisition targets, and client facilities.

What you will do

• Develop and execute enterprise environmental, health, and safety strategies, policies, standards, management systems, and performance objectives.
• Advise executive leadership on EHS governance, regulatory compliance, operational risk, environmental stewardship, and safety performance.
• Direct risk identification and mitigation across laboratories, offices, industrial operations, manufacturing environments, and field services.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs, permits, regulatory reporting, audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, emergency preparedness, crisis management, business continuity, and organizational learning initiatives.
• Build and lead high-performing EHS teams, manage budgets and external providers, and support acquisitions, integrations, and growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, environmental health and safety, environmental science, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of progressive EHS leadership experience, including multi-site and geographically dispersed operations.
• Extensive knowledge of EHS regulations, risk management, EHS management systems, environmental compliance, permitting, and multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies and managing inspections, audits, investigations, compliance initiatives, and executive-level reporting.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, organizational growth, and enterprise risk management.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the United States and Canada, work across office, laboratory, industrial, construction, and field environments, and respond to critical incidents outside normal business hours.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
• Additional environmental, industrial hygiene, compliance, or risk management certifications.
• Experience in laboratory, industrial, technical services, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or field service operations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
