Alternative Delivery Manager (Power Transmission)

Location: Houston, TX, United States. Travel may exceed 50% depending on the assignment and project requirements.

What you will do

• Provide direction and management across all phases of alternative and collaborative delivery projects.
• Lead business development, teaming, pursuits, and proposal activities.
• Manage active contracts and design coordination with internal teams, partners, clients, and contractors.
• Provide leadership and project management guidance for design-build pursuits and project delivery.
• Develop win strategies, pricing, schedules, and project controls.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, plus 5+ years of project or construction management experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Experience with transportation engineering or construction projects, including highways, bridges, foundations, retaining walls, or federal projects.
• Experience with alternative delivery models such as design-build, CMGC, or progressive design-build.
• Experience in key project leadership roles and client management during pursuits and project delivery.
• Technical writing experience and understanding of scheduling, estimating, and project controls software.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicle types operated and an acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• DBIA certification.
