Location: Renton, Washington, United States; travel may exceed 50% depending on the assignment and project requirements.

Expected salary range: $161,000–$242,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate preconstruction management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, change management, communication, meetings, and document control.
• Oversee multidisciplinary design integration and verify that deliverables are coordinated, constructible, documented, and supported by accurate field data.
• Facilitate federal, state, and local permitting strategies, environmental investigations, agency coordination, property access agreements, compliance reviews, and stakeholder engagement.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support cost, schedule, and contingency decisions.
• Lead estimating teams in preparing preliminary estimates and GMP proposals while aligning scope, assumptions, cost, schedule, phasing, and procurement.
• Develop construction strategies, support value engineering and constructability reviews, and provide continuity through construction, commissioning, turnover, and close-out.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in design-build, integrated project delivery, or complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction execution, sequencing, means and methods, and close-out.
• Experience coordinating multiple design disciplines and external consultants.
• Experience with Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, or CM/GC delivery methods, including win strategies, pricing, and project scheduling.
• Experience in technical writing and scheduling, estimating, and project controls software; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• DBIA certification.
