Alternative Delivery Manager, Power Transmission, Substation, Distribution - Michels Preconstruction Services, Inc.

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; travel may exceed 50% depending on assignment and project requirements.

What you will do

• Provide direction and management across all phases of alternative and collaborative delivery projects.
• Lead business development, teaming, pursuits, and proposals.
• Manage active contracts and design activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and external partners.
• Provide leadership and project management guidance for design-build pursuits and project delivery.
• Coordinate internal hirify.global teams and external client and partner teams while making timely project decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, plus 5+ years of project or construction management experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Experience with transportation engineering or construction projects, including highway DOT, bridges, foundations, retaining walls, or federal projects.
• Experience with alternative delivery models such as design-build, CMGC, or progressive design-build.
• Experience in key project leadership roles and client management across pursuits and project delivery.
• Understanding of win strategies, pricing, project scheduling, estimating, and project controls software.
• Technical writing skills, a valid driver’s license, and an acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• DBIA certification.
