Import Compliance Analyst (Aerospace): Supporting import compliance programs for aerospace and defense manufacturing operations with an accent on part classification, licensing data, audits, and regulatory adherence. Focus on coordinating compliance across engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, and HR while monitoring ITAR-controlled data requirements and internal policies.

Location: Lynnwood, Washington, United States; onsite in a standard office environment with occasional visits to the manufacturing area.

Salary: $83,245–$102,258.80 per year.

What you will do

  • Support import compliance data entry, licensing reviews, and part classification compliance in the ERP system.
  • Confirm part classifications and audit imports for adherence to applicable requirements.
  • Coordinate import compliance activities with engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, HR, and other functions.
  • Support site, group, and corporate import compliance initiatives and collaborate with compliance peers across facilities.
  • Contribute to training documentation, training delivery, meetings, and company-wide compliance initiatives.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures related to import compliance and applicable regulations.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively across functional teams.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Only US Persons may be considered where access to controlled data or information is required under ITAR.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior import compliance experience.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
