Director of Multiplatform Content (Streaming)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States

Annual salary: $70,000+, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead content strategy and programming development for FOX21+ streaming platforms.
• Develop and produce original streaming programs, special reports, and exclusive storytelling.
• Report, write, shoot, edit, and produce content for broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms.
• Develop enterprise stories and features focused on Southern Colorado communities, people, and issues.
• Anchor the weekday FOX21+ 4:30–5:00 p.m. newscast from the streaming studio.
• Collaborate with newsroom leaders and other departments on content initiatives, special projects, and community partnerships.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in digital journalism, newsroom operations, newsroom management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong news judgment and the ability to work effectively under deadline pressure.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and AP Style skills.
• Ability to research, verify information, and produce accurate news content independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with vMix or OBS and willingness to learn new technologies are preferred.
