Assembler Technician (Aviation Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components into industrial assemblies according to product and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, bills of material, technical specifications, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, powered tools, drills, files, grinders, cutters, wire strippers, crimping tools, and material-handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues, solve problems, and work with support departments on corrective actions.
• Self-inspect completed assemblies using drawings and checklists while reporting safety or quality non-conformances.
• Support daily production goals, team problem solving, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of medium/heavy mechanical assembly experience.
• Thorough understanding of blueprints and technical documentation.
• Ability to operate mechanical and electrical tooling.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety, with sound judgment in sequencing setups and operations.
• Ability to work productively in a diverse and multicultural manufacturing environment.
