Automotive Electrical Assembler (Automotive)

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, second shift

Salary: $25.95+ per hour, including shift and technical premiums.

What you will do

• Assemble, wire, install, and route electrical parts, wires, harnesses, and cables.
• Use drills, crimpers, wire cutters, strippers, electric drivers, tie-wrap guns, and other hand tools.
• Read blueprints, review work orders and schedules, and complete assigned processes.
• Drill, clean, organize, and inventory electrical parts while assisting coworkers with lifting.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and operate forklifts or carts when required.
• Work the second shift from Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

• Previous electromechanical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety manuals, work orders, and tape measures.
• Ability to distinguish wire, harness, and cable colors and recognize differences in parts and tools.
• Ability to lift and manipulate parts or equipment weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to safely use personal protective equipment and access or operate heavy equipment.
• Excellent attendance and ability to follow written and verbal instructions are required.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in automotive mechanics or electromechanical studies, or equivalent experience.
• Previous maintenance or operations experience.
• Previous experience as a Pierce team member or contractor.
