What you will do

  • Assemble complex electronic components and subassemblies using detailed instructions and blueprints.
  • Perform quality inspections and tests on finished assemblies.
  • Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and maintain and calibrate tools and equipment.
  • Document production activities, discrepancies, and compliance with safety procedures.
  • Support training and mentoring for junior assembly technicians.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of assembly technician or related experience; a higher-level degree may substitute for experience.
  • Understanding of manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for employment because an active U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Intermediate soldering or electronics assembly certification.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
