Senior Product Owner (iC Software Applications)

Location: Nänikon, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland; hybrid work model

What you will do

• Define and maintain product goals, priorities, and roadmaps for the iC Software Platform.
• Manage the complete software product lifecycle from ideation and requirements through release, adoption, optimization, and end of life.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating business and user needs into clear requirements and user stories.
• Partner with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions while balancing scope, timelines, resources, priorities, and technical considerations.
• Lead alignment across complex, interconnected projects, dependencies, risks, and stakeholders.
• Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to guide product evolution and commercial activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software product management, product ownership, or similar roles, including senior-level product ownership experience.
• Proven success delivering complex enterprise software products in agile development environments.
• Experience leading large-scale projects involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and dependencies.
• Strong capabilities in roadmap management, backlog management, prioritization, product lifecycle management, stakeholder management, analytical problem-solving, and communication.
• Excellent English communication skills are required; willingness to travel up to 10%, including overnight and international trips, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with scientific, industrial, or chemical engineering software environments.
• Additional education or training in Product Management, Agile methodologies, or Business Administration.
• PSPO, CSPO, or equivalent certification.
• German language skills.
