AI Product Owner (GenAI)

Location: Zurich, Switzerland; hybrid work model

Salary: CHF 128,000–192,000 per year for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Own AI products from business problem and value hypothesis through deployment, integration, production, and scale.
• Translate requirements from underwriting, claims, and operations into product roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery plans.
• Design and develop user-centric AI applications and scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
• Lead delivery with AI engineers, data scientists, software engineers, business experts, and governance stakeholders.
• Define success measures and improve products using data, user feedback, and business outcomes.
• Shape standards for GenAI implementation, AI product governance, quality, security, scalability, and responsible AI.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative or technical field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade AI, GenAI, or data-driven products.
• Hands-on experience implementing GenAI solutions and taking AI models from training and testing through production deployment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark, with expertise in data pipelines and MLOps at scale.
• Strong product thinking, stakeholder management, and cross-functional delivery leadership.
• Excellent English communication skills required, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to business audiences.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Azure, Palantir Foundry, and TypeScript.
• Experience building applications with LLMs, RAG, agents, or other modern GenAI patterns.
• Project management or delivery experience in agile environments.
• Experience working in multinational or cross-cultural environments.
