Senior Product Manager (Smart Home)

Location: Remote within Europe; Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, or the United Kingdom. Candidates must be currently based in and eligible to work within Europe. The role includes at least three hours of workday overlap for team communication.

Approximate annual total compensation: Netherlands €79,500; United Kingdom £74,100; Spain €68,500; Portugal €61,800. Compensation for other countries is discussed during the first interview.

What you will do

• Create product visions and strategies for products across the foundation’s portfolio.
• Bring product opportunities from discovery through delivery in collaboration with engineers, designers, and researchers.
• Participate in the day-to-day operation of product development and take ownership of the work required to deliver outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and commercial partners such as Nabu Casa and Apollo Automation.
• Involve the worldwide open-source community in shaping product opportunities from discovery to delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience delivering value to users as a product manager.
• 3+ years of experience shaping product strategy and vision.
• Meaningful experience working autonomously with iterative development and releases.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams with UX designers, researchers, and engineers.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages to different audiences.
• Professional fluency in English and current European residency with eligibility to work in Europe.
