Systems Integration and Test Engineer - Mid-Level

Location: Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, United States; onsite role with limited telework only as mission requirements allow

hirify.global provides systems engineering, integration, and test support for the 46 Test Squadron/TGBC and its Advanced Datalinks Test Lab.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain test-support hardware, software, scripts, and an engineering-solutions library in accordance with security guidelines.
• Integrate, operate, and maintain hardware and electrical components, using electrical measurement tools for verification and validation.
• Analyze test-equipment failures and recommend engineering solutions.
• Support the design of test architectures and integrate solutions into test plans, test cards, data-analysis plans, and formal reports.
• Coordinate with program offices and test teams to develop and present technical solutions and briefings.
• Participate in test planning, execution, data analysis, reporting, and travel to contractor facilities and test sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a related technical field, plus 3–10 years of experience; additional experience may substitute for education.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and approval for TS/SCI and Special Access Programs.
• Experience or knowledge in software development and scripting, with strong organization, communication, decision-making, and self-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to present technical details in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work independently in a team environment and travel CONUS and OCONUS for up to 25% of working time.

Nice to have

• Understanding of digital data RF systems or data links and their use.
• Python scripting experience.
• Experience with Windows and Linux, software or hardware testing, and automated test tools or fixtures.
• Current active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
