Senior Test Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Dahlgren, Virginia; must be local to the work location, with occasional telework.

Projected compensation range: $125,687.98–$218,547.01 per year.

What you will do

• Develop test plans, scripts, scenarios, functional tests, regression tests, and deployment tests for AI-enabled applications.
• Design and implement testing methods, procedures, and equipment to evaluate software and product reliability.
• Perform non-deterministic testing where identical inputs may produce different outputs.
• Analyze test results, product behavior, failures, throughput, yield, and test metrics.
• Coordinate testing with software development and requirements teams and participate in requirements and design reviews.
• Report test activity results and recommend improvements to testing processes, procedures, and requirements.

Requirements

• Must hold an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience testing application capabilities that leverage AI.
• Experience with mutation, performance, acceptance, range, threshold, and objective testing.
• Experience with system testing metrics, best practices, methodologies, test plans, and test case execution.
• Experience with data analysis, data verification, problem-solving, and statistical reporting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; BS with 12–15 years, MS with 10–13 years, or PhD with 10+ years of experience.
