Location: Lone Tree, Colorado; work is performed in an office, lab, hangar, or offsite environment, with occasional travel.

Estimated starting salary: $108,496.89–$149,183.22 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and procedures.
  • Oversee system-level, subsystem, and component-level functional, performance, and environmental testing.
  • Analyze test data, identify root causes, troubleshoot anomalies, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to define test requirements and verification strategies.
  • Ensure test processes and equipment meet applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare test reports, technical content, meetings, and internal or external briefings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, plus 6 or more years of test engineering experience; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Advanced understanding of test and evaluation principles, engineering practices, requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
  • Experience planning, conducting, and documenting Verification and Validation activities in multidisciplinary design and development teams.
  • Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and apply logical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience developing test automation frameworks and understanding CI/CD pipelines.
  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with manual and automated testing equipment, standards, and methodologies.
  • Experience with certification testing for FAA, NASA, DoD, or similar organizations.
  • Experience testing to MIL-STD-810, DO-160, or comparable industry standards.
  • Experience with product and quality assurance, non-conformances, safety risk management, and risk mitigation.
  • Python, C#, or TypeScript experience, including CI/CD pipeline implementation and reverse-traceability documentation automation.
