CIB Global Export & Agency Finance Analyst

Location: Boadilla del Monte, Spain, based out of the Madrid office; hybrid work model with some days remote and some days onsite.

What you will do

• Support the origination and follow-up of ECA- and MLA-backed financing opportunities across Latin America.
• Identify, screen, and generate new business opportunities with local teams, coverage bankers, product specialists, and clients.
• Prepare client pitches, internal presentations, marketing materials, management reports, and pipeline updates.
• Monitor regional KPIs, financial performance, pipeline evolution, revenues, and related management follow-ups.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders across Project Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, E&S, Syndication, and Middle Office.
• Support transaction execution through internal approval stages and contribute to business development initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, investment banking, structured finance, project finance, export finance, trade finance, credit analysis, consulting, sales, business development, or related financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Law, International Relations, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent English and Spanish required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, follow-up, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills, plus strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams involving different countries, teams, and time zones.

• Financial modelling skills.
• Commercial, client-facing, sales, origination support, or business development experience.
• International academic or professional experience.
• Portuguese or French language skills.
