Lead System Integration Robotics Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Develop automation systems for logistics operations using custom manipulators and third-party robots.
• Design scalable software architecture and algorithms for perception and motion-control systems.
• Integrate manipulators, mobile robots, cloud components, and human interfaces into complex automation systems.
• Analyze operational data, evaluate system performance, and deploy reliable solutions in real-world logistics warehouses.
• Collaborate with automation engineers, define concrete implementation steps, and manage delivery timelines.
• Continuously improve algorithms quantitatively while maintaining safety and system stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with modern C++ (C++14 or later), Python, and clean software architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in robotics, ROS 1 and/or ROS 2, perception, and control algorithms.
• 2+ years of experience deploying and maintaining robots in real-world environments.
• Experience with network communication protocols including UDP, TCP, and DDS.
• Experience implementing integrated hardware and software systems, with or without ROS.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, issue-monitoring, and reliability-focused engineering skills.

Nice to have

• Experience tuning motion controllers, robotic manipulators, inverse kinematics, and motion planning.
• Experience with RGB-D sensors, computer vision, and AI/ML for perception systems.
• Experience with low-level hardware communication, OpenCAN, or embedded hardware.
• Ability to manage subject-matter experts and set technical direction.
• Experience designing or testing innovative robotics products.
