Senior Embedded Systems Developer (IoT)

What you will do

• Design and develop firmware for wireless devices and embedded Linux-based systems.
• Develop software for IoT gateways, smart home centers, sensors, wearables, and smart pet devices.
• Optimize code size and performance, including existing codebases.
• Integrate IoT devices into ecosystems using protocols such as BLE, Zigbee, and Matter.
• Work directly with client teams and participate in technical discussions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ software development.
• Professional experience with Zigbee, including development, integration, debugging, or maintenance.
• Hands-on experience developing and debugging MCU firmware in OS-less, RTOS, and/or Embedded Linux environments, or Linux development across different hardware platforms.
• Good technical English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zephyr OS, FreeRTOS, Linux, or similar embedded platforms.
• Knowledge of communication protocols including UART, USB, TCP, UDP, TLS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MQTT, HTTP, or Modbus.
• Experience integrating embedded devices with cloud services.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
• Technical team leadership, complex codebase optimization, Unix-like administration, or distributed-team experience.
