RN Charge Nurse - Operating Room - Full Time (Operating Room)

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States; full-time role with varied 8-, 10-, and 12-hour day shifts.

What you will do

• Serve as the immediate clinical resource for operating room staff during the assigned shift.
• Provide oversight of patient care, staffing, shift flow, and general operating room operations.
• Coach and mentor staff while modeling clinical skills, critical thinking, teamwork, and professional behavior.
• Collaborate with unit leadership and healthcare disciplines to develop integrated approaches to patient care.
• Manage and redirect issues using appropriate resources and the chain of command.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN or enrollment in a BSN program.
• Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse license required.
• Minimum of two years of current experience in the specialty.
• Ability to manage a complex, high-stress work environment and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Board certification in the specialty within two years of hire.
