Operating Room Circulating RN - Nights

Location: Lowell General Hospital, Main Campus Operating Room, Lowell, Massachusetts; onsite night shift

Salary: $37.50–$75.32 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients and their families.
• Work in a 24/7 main operating room with thirteen surgical rooms, including pediatric and orthopedic suites.
• Monitor patients during peri-operative care and recovery.
• Apply the nursing process in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN licensure in good standing is required.
• 12 months to less than 3 years of RN experience is required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Certification relevant to the department and patient population may be required.
• BSN is strongly preferred; candidates with an Associate’s degree in nursing may be considered and are encouraged to enroll in a BSN program within one year of hire.
• Experience in telemetry or an intermediate care setting is preferred; ACLS certification is preferred.
