DC Maintenance Technician III (PLC)

Location: US - IN US8 Midwest Distribution Center; onsite, Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM

Salary: $27.74–$32.26 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, and repair of conveyor equipment, industrial systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Work with AC/DC controls, PLC-controlled equipment, pneumatics, control cabinets, power supplies, field devices, and systems operating at up to 480 volts.
• Complete facility maintenance tasks including wall and floor repairs, lighting replacement, racking repairs, furniture moves, and equipment setups.
• Document labor, parts, inventory, test results, and completed work orders in the computerized maintenance management system.
• Follow lockout/tagout, confined-space, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Manage minor projects, develop reliability improvements, and train lower-grade technicians.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including high- and low-voltage AC and DC systems.
• Experience troubleshooting conveyor controls, process controllers, control cabinets, power supplies, and related field devices.
• Knowledge of automatic identification systems and laser scanning devices.
• Valid driver's license and forklift certification.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, multiple projects, and fast-paced distribution-center work.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OSHA compliance.
• Conversational Spanish skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
