Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Mamakating DC (0865), United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

Salary: $25.65–$41.00 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect and repair conveyor systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance on air compressors, generators, compactors, balers, conveyors, and power and material-handling equipment.
• Inspect and repair fire protection equipment, heating and air-conditioning units, facility lighting, and other building systems.
• Complete minor electrical and plumbing repairs, painting, office furniture moves, and materials recycling.
• Respond to equipment jams, malfunctions, and other maintenance issues, and assist outside contractors.
• Administer maintenance parts and operate handheld scanners, communication devices, and other technology equipment.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of MSDS standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to climb ladders, operate power equipment, and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, stand and walk throughout shifts, and perform repetitive physical movements.
• Basic math, reading, computer, reporting, and communication skills.
• Must provide basic personal tools and maintain regular attendance while following health and safety requirements.
