Maintenance Technician

Location: Romeoville, Illinois, United States; onsite work in a production and/or warehouse setting

Salary: $62,000–$73,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive plan

What you will do

• Maintain facility systems, automation, and production or warehouse equipment to ensure operational reliability.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment problems affecting safety, quality, or production.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs and maintain compliance with the company’s EAM platform.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, capital projects, equipment acquisition, installation, audits, and process changes.
• Manage maintenance parts inventory, procurement, vendors, contractors, and scheduling coordination.
• Provide technical support and communicate activities affecting safety, quality, and production to maintenance and operations leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Technical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, processing, and blueprint-related systems.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures, plant safety requirements, ANSI, and QS9000 regulations.
• Ability to use technical tools and equipment for troubleshooting, read drawings and procedures, and work with computers.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English and work onsite in Romeoville, Illinois.
