What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and replace components on baggage handling systems and related electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control equipment.
• Perform reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including scheduled and emergency repairs.
• Inspect power circuits and electrical wiring, read equipment manuals, work orders, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
• Record accurate maintenance information in the CMMS and monitor baggage system operations and data to identify issues and corrective actions.
• Replace encoders, photo eyes, heads, controllers, and other system components; clear baggage jams and support airport operations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, direct and delegate work to peers, and communicate critical conditions to supervisors and site management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and a valid driver license.
• 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance and maintenance operations.
• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair skills for baggage machinery.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Ability to obtain an airport badge and work in secure airport areas.
• Availability for first, second, or third shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice to have

• Intermediate understanding of PLC control systems.
• Familiarity with airport operations.
