TL;DR

Airport Services - Maintenance Repair Tech II - RDU Airport (RDU) (Airport Maintenance): Maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing baggage conveyor systems, Passenger Boarding Bridges, and related mechanical and electrical equipment with an accent on scheduled and emergency maintenance, PLC controls, and multi-system repairs. Focus on troubleshooting 480V three-phase motors, completing pneumatic and hydraulic repairs, responding to baggage jams, and documenting work in CMMS.

Location: Morrisville, North Carolina, United States; onsite at RDU Airport

What you will do

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain baggage conveyor systems, controls, and related equipment.
Maintain and repair Passenger Boarding Bridges and perform scheduled and emergency maintenance.
Complete mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs, including work on 480V three-phase motors.
Respond to baggage jams and operational issues on airport facilities and ramps.
Document preventive and corrective maintenance activities in the CMMS system.
Operate golf carts, company vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment as required.

Requirements

3–5 years of maintenance operations experience.
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain the necessary security clearance.
Intermediate to advanced mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair skills.
Intermediate understanding of PLC control systems and experience with 480V three-phase motors.
Availability for first, second, or third shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work onsite outdoors on an airport ramp and in confined baggage-conveyor areas.

Nice to have

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Familiarity with airport operations, Passenger Boarding Bridges, and conveyance systems.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, project management tools, and CMMS software.
