Superintendent (Transmission and Distribution Construction)

Location: Alvarado, Texas, United States; traveling field role with work performed at a company-designated office or field location.

What you will do

• Oversee daily line crew operations and ensure quality of work and materials.
• Manage QA/QC activities, equipment reviews and scheduling, and efficient use of materials and equipment.
• Develop and implement project procedures and verify compliance with construction practices and safety program requirements.
• Train and develop field crews, foremen, and general foremen, including new-hire orientation.
• Document procedural violations, notify stakeholders, and recommend or implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in transmission and distribution line construction.
• Experience managing field crews of 25 or more people.
• Experience with OSHA 20 CFR transmission and distribution compliance.
• Journeyman certification or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and JD Edwards; CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 10- and 20-hour certifications.
