Sr Project Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; primarily office or hybrid work, with occasional travel to customer or field locations.

What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects in line with business goals.
• Provide advanced technical guidance and problem-solving support to multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage communication with senior leadership, customers, and external stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and improve delivery efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and support continuous learning and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• At least 12 years of engineering experience, including 4 or more years in a leadership role.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Experience in multidisciplinary design and development teams.
• Strong understanding of requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
• Current and active Secret U.S. security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and 6–8 years of relevant leadership or project management experience.
• Experience communicating with program management and customers.
• Experience with project estimates, technical proposals, cost and schedule management, baseline definition, and trade studies.
• INCOSE experience or certification, and an aerospace or defense industry background.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, specifications, parts lists, instructions, and test procedures.
