OB Surgical Technologist Certified - Labor and Delivery - Full Time - Nights

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite night shift, 7:00pm–7:30am, 36 hours per week.

What you will do

• Prepare operating rooms, sterile back tables, Mayo stands, instruments, supplies, medications, and equipment before procedures.
• Perform surgical scrubbing, gowning, gloving, patient draping, surgical counts, and sterile-field setup.
• Pass instruments and supplies, manage retractors, suction, electrocautery, sutures, irrigation solutions, and hemostatic agents during procedures.
• Support obstetric cases including cystoscopy, emergency hysterectomy, postpartum hemorrhage management, dilation and curettage, dilation and evacuation, cerclage, laceration repairs, and postpartum salpingectomies.
• Handle specimens accurately, including labeling, documentation, transport, and preparation for terminal sterilization.
• Maintain room readiness, assist with patient transfers and admissions, clean equipment, set up delivery tables, and participate in debriefing and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program.
• Current NBSTSA or NCCT surgical technologist certification.
• Medical Technician License from the State of New Hampshire, unless another current New Hampshire state license is held.
• BLS certification and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Associate's degree preferred.
