OB Surgical Technician Certified - Labor and Delivery - Full Time - Day / Night Rotating

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite role with rotating day and night shifts, 7:00am–7:30pm or 7:00pm–7:30am, 36 hours per week.

What you will do

• Prepare operating rooms, sterile back tables, Mayo stands, instruments, supplies, medications, and equipment before procedures.
• Perform surgical scrubbing, gowning, gloving, patient draping, surgical counts, and sterile-field setup.
• Pass instruments and supplies, manage medications and irrigation solutions, assist with retraction and suction, and maintain sterile technique during procedures.
• Support labor and delivery cases including cystoscopy, emergency hysterectomy, postpartum hemorrhage management, dilation and curettage, dilation and evacuation, cerclage, laceration repair, and postpartum salpingectomy.
• Handle, document, label, and transport specimens; clean instruments and prepare them for terminal sterilization.
• Maintain operating-room readiness, assist with patient transfers and admissions, set up delivery tables, clean equipment, and participate in debriefing and quality-improvement practices.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program.
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required.
• Medical Technician License from the State of New Hampshire, unless another current New Hampshire state license is held.
• BLS certification and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
