Packaging Print Specialist (Packaging)

Location: Remote role based in Shanghai or Shenzhen, China; frequent domestic business trips and up to 50% international travel required.

What you will do

• Support color print tests, color matching, multi-site sample approvals, and manufacturing capacity verification.
• Develop stable ink and foil formulas to unify quality standards across the supply chain.
• Conduct press approvals and domestic and international PRQ press inspections for packaging and accessories.
• Troubleshoot printing defects on site, provide color judgments and approvals, and explain findings to internal teams and vendors.
• Track print deliverables, manage approved color chips and vendor color data, and flag delivery risks.
• Supervise supplier capability improvement across pre-press, ink mixing, printing, finishing, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in consumer electronics or FMCG packaging and labeling, including project management.
• Strong knowledge of pre-press, printing workflows, inks, adhesives, print decoration, and finishing techniques.
• Expertise in color management and color theory; must pass the Munsell test with a score below 5.
• Hands-on press color approval experience and the ability to identify printing root causes and coach suppliers.
• Based in Shanghai or Shenzhen, China, with frequent domestic travel and up to 50% international travel.
• Written and reading English proficiency, with conversational English for team communication; strong attention to detail, prioritization, accountability, and collaboration.
