Sr. Process Engineer (Packaging Automation)

Location: Remote in New York, United States

Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year. Potential commission opportunity: $5,000–$20,00.

What you will do

• Oversee the sales and execution phases of large customer projects across products, markets, and applications.
• Work with customers to develop customized engineered solutions that maximize value and profitability.
• Partner with Business Development and Regional Sales on growth strategies and tactical plans.
• Develop customer relationships, prepare project estimates and quotes, and deliver solution presentations.
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop project concepts and provide technical guidance and design feedback.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout each project phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Eight or more years of experience in the food and beverage industry, including client relations, high-level design, engineering concepts, sales engineering, and project management.
• Ability and willingness to travel to support customer service.
• Experience independently managing large-scale projects from concept to completion.
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking skills.
• Understanding of target industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
