Supplier Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Evaluate new suppliers during product development and manage supplier quality improvements.
• Coordinate component and product failure analysis, inspections, root-cause investigations, and permanent or preventive corrective actions.
• Resolve supplier material issues, customer complaints, and field reliability problems.
• Manage internal program audits and corrective action activities supporting AS9100 certification.
• Apply statistical process control methods, lead CSI and GSI inspections, and maintain required quality documentation.
• Drive FAR completion, NCMR resolution, compliance with approved designs, and Material Review Board meetings.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Supplier Quality, Quality, Reliability, or Components Engineer in electronics or automotive manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and supplier quality management skills.
• Familiarity with hybrid manufacturing methods, IPC- A-610, and J-STD-001.
• Experience with statistical tools such as Minitab is preferred.
• Access to controlled data may be restricted to US Persons; ITAR eligibility and a government security investigation may apply.
