Focus on managing SCAR processes, assessing manufacturing capabilities, preventing counterfeit parts, and eliminating vendor defects across the supply chain.

Location: 100% onsite in Inglewood, California, United States. The role requires approximately 10–30% travel to supplier sites. Applicants must be U.S. persons under ITAR export-control requirements, including U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, political asylees, or refugees.

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and education.

What you will do

  • Evaluate supplier capabilities against corporate, customer, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Analyze supplier scorecards, raw data, and weekly metrics to identify trends and performance issues.
  • Issue and manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests and Supplier Notifications through closed-loop corrective action.
  • Conduct supplier quality system audits, assessments, site visits, and technical discussions.
  • Manage the Approved Supplier List and implement supplier improvement plans and milestones.
  • Train suppliers and internal personnel on specifications, quality requirements, RCCA, counterfeit-part avoidance, and GIDEP alerts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in engineering, logistics, or supply chain.
  • 3–8 years of experience, preferably in aerospace and defense.
  • Understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of AS9100, ANSI, ASME, government requirements, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data and metrics; strong communication, organization, and self-management skills.
  • Ability to work onsite, travel to suppliers, and lift 35 pounds.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Cause Map, 5-Why, inspection methods, technical writing, FSDA, or DPD.
  • Lean or Green Belt certification.
  • CSQP or CQE certification.
  • Familiarity with SAP.
