Electrical Engineer 4 (Aerospace)

Location: Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama, United States; approximately 10% travel

hirify.global provides engineering and test support for U.S. defense and aerospace programs, including the Redstone Test and Engineering Support Contract.

What you will do

• Integrate airborne instrumentation systems for U.S. Army Test & Evaluation Command and Redstone Test Center.
• Plan and execute developmental and operational tests involving aviation weapon system platforms.
• Monitor real-time data quality, analyze test data, and prepare technical reports.
• Contribute to and document flight operations and flight-test developments.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited institution or a degree in an applicable technical specialty.
• At least 9 years of experience testing aircraft, aircraft systems, or aircraft instrumentation.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Experience may include flight controls, displays, radar, communications/navigation, or airframe systems.

Nice to have

• Ability to read and create electrical schematics.
• Experience creating or modifying Pulse Code Modulation data streams.
• Knowledge of binary, hexadecimal, octal, and other numerical systems.
• Experience interfacing with and recording data from military aviation platforms.
