Production Supervisor I (Aerospace): Leading manufacturing teams across metal fabrication, assembly, and testing while maintaining safety, quality, customer schedules, and cost goals with an accent on lean manufacturing, resource allocation, and daily performance management. Focus on analyzing KPIs, identifying root causes, driving corrective actions, and developing employees in a regulated aerospace and defense environment.

Location: Lynnwood, Washington, United States; onsite swing shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM

Salary: $87,765–$111,264 annual USD

What you will do

  • Lead and direct employees in metal fabrication, assembly, and/or testing operations.
  • Review daily KPIs, identify performance gaps, and lead structured problem solving using methods such as 8 Step, 5 Why, Cause and Effect, and Fishbone analysis.
  • Coordinate with other groups, product lines, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure products are built, assembled, and tested to requirements.
  • Allocate resources and make staffing decisions to meet customer demand, production schedules, and cost goals.
  • Identify and process quality issues, including non-conforming materials, scrap, and rework.
  • Coach and mentor employees while supporting manufacturing instructions, material replenishment, equipment calibration, and maintenance compliance.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or a similar field.
  • General knowledge of cellular manufacturing and basic continuous improvement practices, including standard work, 5S, and material replenishment.
  • Ability to align customer demand with manufacturing capacity, plan labor allocations, and use data to determine root causes.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Access to controlled data or information may be required; only US Persons will be considered where ITAR access restrictions apply.

Nice to have

  • Previous supervisory experience in aerospace or electronics manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with web-based software.
